eStatements Take Off at First Community CU

ST. LOUIS -- First Community CU here has learned a lesson with eStatements -- members like them.

The credit union enrolled an impressive 1,169 new members into its eStatement program this June, up by 69 over the previous record.

Digital Mailer, which provides the technology behind the product, awarded First Community CU the "highest enrollment title."

One of the keys to success was employee promotion. The credit union set weekly eStatement enrollment goals and if they were met, employees were given a casual dress day, as well as other perks.

The credit union archives 12 months of statements online for members to download.
