DigitalMailer lends clients a hand - the digital way
Industry leader offers free email eblast program for charitable and community outreach
Herndon, Va. (Feb. 26, 2008) - For nearly eight years, DigitalMailer, Inc. has helped credit unions market their products and services to their members through online technology. Now, the CUSO is lending its powerful email engine and expertise to another important effort: connecting credit unions and their members to support charitable or community causes.
Through DigitalMailer's community outreach program, credit unions can send email blasts to their members to help drive participation in the credit unions' charitable activities. DigitalMailer provides the service free for clients' qualifying charities or local programs and is estimating that more than one million emails will be sent in 2008.

One of the first to participate in the new program is Neighbors Credit Union, a $192 million credit union based in St. Louis. Neighbors CU has relied on DigitalMailer since 2006 for email services to enhance its marketing efforts and member communications. To announce Miracle Week, the credit union's fundraising program for Children's Miracle Network, Neighbors CU worked with DigitalMailer to design an e-LERTS message encouraging member participation.
