For the second time in three weeks, Keys Federal Credit Union in Key West, Fla., quickly blasted out an emergency email notice to members alerting them of its closure and emergency plan. With Hurricane Ike poised to take a nasty swipe at the Florida Keys, the credit union complied with a mandatory evacuation order, using DigitalMailer's online crisis-management system and staff to distribute an urgent email alert Saturday to some 3,000 Keys FCU members in a matter of minutes.

"Just like Tropical Storm Fay, Ike quickly grabbed our attention - only more so as it was a Category 4 hurricane," said Renee Travis, Keys FCU Marketing Director. "And once again, we called on the DigitalMailer team over a weekend to help us get critical information to our members. In the commotion and uncertainty of another evacuation, we have one less worry with DigitalMailer as our partner in member communications during an emergency."
